Satan tried to destroy both Moses and Jesus while they were still babies.
Both Moses and Jesus spent their formative years in Egypt.
Moses delivered his people from the bondage of slavery. Christ delivers us from the bondage of sin which leads to Hell.
At the first Passover, a lamb was offered as sacrifice to spare the firstborn sons of the Israelites. When Christ shared the Passover with His disciples, he was the firstborn son, the Lamb of God, who gave his life to rescue us from hell.
At the first Passover, the Israelites ate unleavened bread. Christ said he was the bread of life and the unleavened bread was his body that was about to be broken during his death.
At the first Passover, God kept a watch over Israel the whole night. Just before his death, God the Son asked His disciples to keep a watch over him.
After being freed from slavery, Moses enemies were destroyed by drowning in the Red Sea. When Jesus rose from the dead, he destroyed the power of death over the believer.
Observing the law cannot save anybody, nor was it designed that way. I observe it because Jesus met with me in a hotel room in Moss Point, ,Mississippi while I was observing Passover in 2015. Hopefully I will have another meeting soon.
