I am reading the entire Bible for the fourth time. I am doing it a little differently than what I have done before. I wanted to meditate on the New Testament. I decided to read a few chapters of the Old Testament and one chapter of the New Testament each day. However, I am progressing slowly through the New Testament because I was more concerned about understanding than completing a marathon. I read the same chapter several times over the course of a few days. When I am finished, I will have theoretically read the New Testament three times over a period of two years.
The Bible is silent as to the method and frequency of reading the whole Bible. What works for me may not work for you. There is no wrong way to read the Bible. Find the way that works for you and don't worry about what others think.
