"This is the will of him who sent me, that I shall lose none of all those he has given me,but raise them up at the last day. For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.”
These were the words God brought to my mind in 2015 while I was celebrating the feast of Unleavened Bread. Although I had accepted Jesus as my personal Savior when I was 12, I had fallen into serious sexual sin in my early 30s. I repented and turned away from those sins and spent the next two years wondering whether or not anyone could lose their salvation. Jesus said,
"I give them eternal life, and they will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand."
Jesus, God here on Earth, the God who created the Heavens and the Earth became one of us. He took humanity upon himself and died on our behalf. How can anyone undo what God has secured through his own suffering and death?
