Four of Jesus's miracles involved fish. They were used twice to feed crowds. In one instance, Jesus told Peter to use his fishing line to catch a fish that swallowed a coin that would be used to pay the Temple tax, indicating that Peter still had the tools of his trade. The big haul of fish was collected by Peter and other disciples after Jesus had risen from the dead.
Two of Jesus' miracles involved boats and water. In once instance, Jesus calmed the waters from a boat. Later, He walked on the water during a storm to the boat carrying His disciples. Jesus even preached to the crowds from a boat.
Jesus often traveled by boat and it wouldn't make any sense to assume that He had to pay a fee each time considering that four of these disciples had two boats between them. Jesus said that He had chosen each of His disciples and it is no coincidence that He chose four fisherman.
We sometimes get in a rut in life. We think that everything we've done or are doing will never be used by God. No matter how extraordinary or mundane, it is often the thing with which we are most skilled that will have the biggest impact on the Kingdom.
